Trust and Betrayal
Trust and betrayal

It was a nice looking café
That served good latte
At a good spot in my mind
Are served memories shared

I enjoyed tea
But I'm alone at sea

With every fibre of him I fell at peace
Cos I could lay all nightmares with ease
Attention I craved
Disgust he said
His petals flourished
Indeed I was nourished

Drenched with sorrows
Are the plagues of my tomorrow
We would commune at bay
Like sailors by day

You were a dove
That carried away my sorrows
But now my feelings as dark as night
Now hardened unlike before

I tasted sweet
Like sprinkles of salt
but you've gone sour
Cos you lack water
A friend before but now no less a foe
Indeed I was betrayed
