Born in the whispers of winter's breath,
A delicate marvel, intricate and fair,
A snowflake's journey, a fleeting depth,
A moment's magic, beyond compare.

With lace-like wings, it takes to the air,
A solo waltz, without a care,
Twirling, swirling, in gentle descent,
A path unwinding, without relent.

It glimmers bright, in the winter's light,
A tiny star, in the morning's sight,
Its beauty unique, a work of art,
A fragile wonder, that touches the heart.

But alas, its journey is short-lived,
A transient marvel, that soon will leave,
Melting away, like a tear in the sun,
Leaving naught, but a memory, undone.

Yet, in its brief life, it brings such delight,
A spark of wonder, in the cold winter's night,
A snowflake's tale, of ephemeral grace,
A fleeting magic, that fills the space.

So let us cherish, these momentary gems,
These delicate flakes, that winter's breath condemns,
For in their brief journey, we find such peace,
