Our love was born in
January
the month of new
beginnings
It was truly a gift
not from a shooting star
but from God
We went through a lot
in this journey of
being together
sailed off of dangerous storms
But just when it was all over
April came
Showed us what we
couldn't see
we saw with our
hearts not our blind eyes
It showed us that it is now
the time of
growth and moving forward
And we picked up where we
left off
I don't regret that as I now know the secret to love
