The silence of fear
#WritcoPoemChallenge

The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even by the crows,
All you could hear was the sound of,
Fear knocking on the doors,
A sudden halt in the noisy life,
How embezzled do we feel;
What of that person with a twisted lip,
Begging for a few coins, in a kneel,
That man silently puts his head down,
And heads nowhere,
In a sudden drown,
With a look of clad on his face,
And pounds in his heart,
A cold tear rolls,
Slowing downing his pace,
He is left alone in his thought
So much he has fought
Yet here goes the inevitable,
As fate puts upon us a burden,
Of silent days, of wandering nights,
Marking the boundaries of our rights...
