One Night I had a dream.
This is how it seemed.
I was in the middle of nowhere!
I wasn't myself instead I was a hare.

Suddenly when I hopped, my legs were caught in a snare.
The pain was worse that I couldn't bare.
I bled; there was no one to help.
Loudly with pain, I yelped!

I was sure my death was nearing.
Then my eyes caught a lion roaring.
I thought I'm gonna be it's prey.
With dismay, I lay.

The lion said "Did you call for help?"
"I came here because I heard a yelp."
I said "Yes, I did call."
"But it's fine, I know you're gonna squeeze me in your paw."

The lion said "What! No! Never I would do that!"
"Just because quarrel is between a cat and a rat."
"That doesn't make them enemies."
"And you calling yourself as a recipe"

And the lion freed me from the trap.
I moved away from him leaving a gap.
I asked "Why did you free me?"
"I thought I am a prey to ye."

The lion said "Dear friend, before I leave, I wanna have a word."
"Your statement is absurd"
"Because all swords are raised up."
"You must understand some swords are raised to obstruct."

"All predators aren't bad."
"Some help because helping others make them glad."
"There's always good in bad."
"Or else I would have attacked."

"So dear friend, never judge someone by appearance."
"Innocence can be also found in a prison."
"Now, I bid you farewell."
"May my words be a spell."

The dream ended there!
I was speechless I swear.
It was a piece of advice.
And the moral was explained so precise.
