Had a talk today with God in my quiet space...

Asked God why is this world such a wicked place...

The reply was this world spins with wicked ways in chaos and sorrow with no hope of tomorrow...

Why I wonder does evil reign in hearts so cold with endless pain...

As a Child of God I stand in awe of the boundless mercy of the eternal law...

I walk this earth as a Child of Light yet shadows linger deep in the twilight...

I am a Child of God pure and true in the darkness I make it through...

As a Child of God I must stand tall to lift those who stumble then catch those who fall...

Though the path is hard and lonely my journey is long as I find my strength in the sacred song...

The world may be wicked but I am strong
for I belong to the One where I truly belong...
