The Sunset
As the dust settles down
And the silver lining clouds turns red
He sat on the park bench alone
Keenly observing the rays of sunlight lingering over the sea
When the gentle tides sweeps the shore
And the chill breeze flashes across his face
He closed his eyes and sigh
Feeling alive in a perfect serenity
In his lone lost world
He figured out a reason to dwell
Indeed a great escape from his past
Although temporary and fantasy it may seem
Far away on the sea at the sunset
As the shadow of the sail unfolds
A voice from deep within silently whispers
Saying life goes on and we ought to live it today
