You welcomed me into a new place,
believed in all that mattered to me,
we shared memories like all friends do,
both good and bad,
because we were glued to each other.
But things changed in a blink of an eye,
that we didn't even notice.
Although I do think maybe the distance between us was too much.
Things never got back to normal.
we had no more tea meetings
to talk about our days and achievements, annoying bosses and our heartbreaks
because we got too busy for that.
our jobs replaced our friendship,
until we became strangers to each other.
I'm so sorry that I let this happen to our friendship,
And thank you for being part of a chapter in my life.
