Two-Faced 🖤❤️
I am accused of_Never forgetting,
As if I could pick with my own hands,
What I should and should not_Forget.
I was born as a Two-faced person,
With one face looking at_The Future,
And the other looking at_The Past
I was found guilty of_Tending to the past,
As if I could uncarve all_I had sculpted_from my unmature decisions.
My only crime was having a mind_That crawls along the riverbed of Time,
Always trying to correct_What had already been done,
As trees line the riverbank,
There she was awaiting my arrival on every side I face,
Standing beside was her was a little girl,
As my body grew up,
The more my mind travelled far and wide,
Now I'm wondering,
How that little girl grew up so fast,
Guess she's been;
Learning new languages,
Remembering faces, names, and dates.
Understanding each and every emotion and feeling_There is,
History was her birth name
And she stood beside the bitter woman
We all call_The past.
