I Played The Role of
Life is like a role play,
So I played different roles,
A villain, a puppet, or sometimes a drunken fool.
But you know what's the best part?
Getting laughed at for being different.

I could be a dancer or be a writer for years,
A painter, a beggar, or even a bystander in the alley.
But my most favorite part,
Standing in front of familiar faces and mocked for being real.

If given a chance, I would play the role of a thinker,
Laid-back and just let my mind wander,
To places where people cheers and cry of their loss and own defeat,
Same where happiness and tragic endings flood like a river of tears.

And once again I thought of being a dancer,
who dances the fastest rhythm every musician could play.
Then I realized dancing for life is a great tactic of survival,
A chance to sway, glide and move my feet from the spotlight of mourning and madness...
I never knew I've been playing all through these years.
