What gave you away
Gold and silver not given any
As to fill my desire weren't too many,
Words of truth much to be told ,
Worth more than any glaring gold.

Dishes on platter served in vary,
Grips were little to even carry,
Cry over sorrow but never of starve,
Boy I'm jealous, how your heart was carved.

Silence in speech yet loud in touch,
Never have my feelings cared such clutch,
Petals of rose may i have missed,
Regrets faded as you leaned and kissed.

Space shuddered as grips tighten,
Fault and guilt began to lighten,
What name be given if it wasn't lust,
I have a better you said, call it trust.
