#WhisperingNature
Oh nature, the depth of your beauty confines me,
I search the great hills and low valleys for a place to call my own,
I drift amongst the trees and their feathers call me thef,
I look around for a tiny cave to hide my weary furs,
but the caves know me not for they say to me "you do not belong".
Behold I go, climbing high into the sky, looking for a place to call my own but the depth of your beauty confines me.
I fall back down to the graves, crawling beneath the rough humus as it scratches against my now weak skin,
but then again it's says "you do not belong".
Again, I set out on a journey of dry sand, horrible winds and cactus frienemies and again they say to me "you do not belong".
Behold I am alone, with nothing to own but my soul,
I drift along the murky soil, the leeches great me with their teeths and lagoon with it's sad lonely scent but again even pain tells me "you do not belong".
Now I have no where to go, no adventure to uphold as I sit on the calm nature of a brown rock outlooking the cool sea that dances to a rhythm I know not of.
"oh but wait my friend, I have not tried have I?, will you accept me into your home?" I ask
and behold they answer "thus, come in for this is where you belong".
Indeed, I feel my longing fade away as I sink my stubby feets into a place I finally can call home.
Thank you nature, for i was lost but now found, detested but now accepted, into the depth of your beauty.
It indeed confines me.
