2012-2016, we shared laughter and joy,
Late-night victories in the gaming employ.
After losing countless battles for fun,
Finally, we could rest with a victory won.
We'd ask about Christmas with pride in our voice,
Over the mic, our friendship would rejoice.
Playing games all night, staying wide awake,
Dreaming of YouTube channels, for each other's sake.
Those were the days we hoped would never end,
Waking up each morning with happiness to send.
Knowing each other's thoughts, our bond grew strong,
As we eagerly awaited new games to come along.
But now, in 2023, life remains the same,
They promised to return, but it's all in vain.
Ten years have passed since that fateful night,
When we logged off, unaware of the ensuing plight.
I've experienced wins and losses, without a care,
Yet silently, I shed tears, feeling their absence and despair.
My life moves forward, everything seems well,
But I long to share my joy with them, I can't dwell.
I yearn for their reactions, their heartfelt laughter,
But it will never be the same, ever after.
