the beauty in our differences
if the world is one way, a set standard that all man must conform too,
ever wondered if you think that way because you see things from one point of view?
yours.
the very meaning of the word different is imbedded in the letters that make up diversity,
nothing has ever truly been one way
look at it this way darling would you?
our differences at birth start from whether you're born as a girl or a boy
but it doesn't stop there, of course not
two boys can grow together with one taller than the other, bigger than the other
now imagine the bigger taller one thinks that's how everyone is supposed to look because he looks like that
because unbeknownst to him, he has made himself the standard in a world that is so widely vast it is impossible for two beings to ever really be the same
because you agree with something doesn't make it the gospel truth love no, just as people grow differently, people also think differently, see things differently, live their lives differently
that doesn't mean they're weird or strange simply because it's something you do not understand
no dear they are just different and there's not a single thing bad about that
in this vast sea of people, how do you expect to project everything you are and believe in onto other people when you're simply part of a fraction of the world
you think it's right, how could she possibly think it's wrong? what the hell is wrong with her? why is she so strange? no dear, she's just different, and that's okay
our differences are what make us human, they're not meant to separate us, they're meant to showcase each of our individuality, what makes one girl different from the other and one boy different from the next
the world is not one way, your thoughts believes and actions are your own, but when you meet people that challenge everything you've ever known with their own thoughts and believes, it does not mean they're strange or an anomaly, it does not take away from you or invalidate all that you are either
it simply means that you're both different, not the same, but that doesn't make you an outcast neither them,
it makes you human.
