The heist
'Put the money in the bag
And no one gets hurt
You'll leave here alive
And you won't be injured'

'But what about him?'
Said the nervous teller
While pointing at
A suspicious feller

A man with a gun
Stood adjacent to me
Bag in his hand
And full of money

I saw the sweat on his brow
'What an absolute amateur
He thinks he's a robber
But hardly meets the parameters'

And so I gathered my money
Bag full of cash
Walk toward the exit
When he and I clashed

We're scrambling
With our bills on the floor
When I notice
The armed guard by the door

'Look!' I say
To the wanna-be robber
'He's pulling his gun
And calling the coppers!'

So we both aim our pistols
Two robbers akin
'Drop the radio
And save me a sin'

The guard listened
As we commanded
The tensions were high
But we were not stranded

'We could still go'
But there was a treasure
'Why, within that vault
Lies our greatest pleasures'

He said, 'I don't know
That could be quite risky'
'Don't worry, I brought courage'
As I waved a flask of whiskey

We headed to the vault
And he took a swig
And surprisingly
He cracked it like a twig

One hundred thousand
A duffle bag each
'Let's get going
Before we get seiged'

We left the vault
We walked out the front
When we both realized
We were not done

'We make a great team,
You and I'
'I've been alone so long
But I think it's time'

So we set out
Safe cracker and gunman
Escaping the law
And always runnin'
