My pen is poised, my paper blank,
But my heart lacks a spark to thank.
I need a muse, a love to write,
To bring my words to life, just right.
No rhyme or reason can I find,
My heart, an empty, hollow mind.
If you exist, a true love, kind,
Please step forth, I'll be so inclined.
To write for you, a sonnet true,
