I can really never be
enough to meet
the expectations, of the extensions,
from society,
placed upon adults like me, 'cuz
though I might awake, every morning,
with a digital pen
to my hand --
Strapped like a disease --, and
though I can't stop exercising,
BECAUSE I'm not a wage-laborer,
I am seen as unworthy of dining.
I'm not gonna internalize this shit,
but, then, they'll just beat me up...

throw the words

but the last time somebody did?
They were a bible-thumpin' disgrace,
not inheriting the words like Pete, or
Paul, but
using holy verses
to stoke up the flames,
and garner lots of attention,
wealth and plastic riches,
and we all call those men "sane",
somehow, even though the...
televangelists all worship Mammon. I'm a fool these days for NOT
worshipin' Mammon.
