Life is a book
With many chapters
No matter
How dark it is around us
Theres always
A new
Chapter that promises
Change and opportunity
Changes are like
A dangerous flood
They pull us
Away from
The usual shore
Push us heavily
Back into the depths
Of our pasts
And our misery

Tidals are
Like never ending waves
Over and over
They throw us
Back to where We've been
To our
Fails and insecurities
They are
Like stormy water
They take us
Constantly further
Deep into the ocean
Of failure
Without giving us
The opportunity and
Time to breathe

But as hard
As it is
It is these storms
That give color
To our lives
Just as
A heavy rain
Gives the colors
Every rainbow
These storms make us
Stronger
They help
To do the right thing
And give us
A chance to start over
Once the page is
Turned and a
New chapter has begun
We only
Notice the process
Of how a beautiful flower
Grows out
Of the chaos and destruction
Between
The fears and the scars

There will always be a new chapter and new hope!
