I was just a child when I heard those words, I wish I was a teenager mom, itll be just a little longer. waiting to open my Christmas presents now, itll be just a little longer. all my life I heard you say just a little longer, almost every day. when my father died I asked you how long it would hurt, you said just a little longer. I tired of hearing you say those words, cause nothing seemed to come just a little longer. I'm 17 a teenager now, see I told you just a little longer.
