Always the artist
never the art.
I write about my muse
and end up counting my poems views.
Am I a hopeless romantic that feels too much?
Or does everyone else only show their love by touch?
I fear this wish is only a daydream
and my expectations of romance just
lower my self esteem
Who knows what the future could hold?
It could be love or everlasting loneliness
I'll have to get used to my own company
since at this moment all I have is the words I put down in a poem
