Sitting on the sand, we were holding hands,
And dancing under the orange sun,
No shadow followed us on the shore,
It was just you, me and us as one...

We built a sand castle on the shore,
And called it 'forever'
Never knew about the sudden wave,
Which left crumbling the castle into 'never'.

The pink purple sky turned deep blue,
And the moments turned into memories,
You went away with the sudden wave,
Leaving me alone in the midst of the sea.

Before going away far from this world,
You promised me to be together till eternity,
Although you left me alone with the stories we shared,
I'll meet you forever in my memory.
