Six Feet Under
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
My soul's not there, my body asleep

Of all the things you'd say you'll never do,
none, not one, were ever true

A million times you've sworn, I'll stay,
yet before my end, all you did was betray

Your oaths fell apart as soon as you took them, for you were never sincere

Let's not forget how deceiving the way you weaved your words were.

So do not stand at my grave and weep,
My spirit has passed, you cannot reap

Sunken is your structured face, pale and blue,
the truth uncovered, none will fall for you.

Memory of the one you ruthlessly stripped of say,
the one who mischieviously haunts you every night and day,

burns your heart, leaves your spirit in distress,
you've attempted to hide, to isolate with no success.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
for I am beside you, am right here.

And I am here to stay,
to execute what you didn't.
