During projects, words you share,
Across the table, you're right there.
Bending close, whispers find,
I'm left blank, a wandering mind.

Concentration on topics, that's my quest,
Ignoring you, I do my best.
A different me, in front of you,
Like a dumbstruck soul, it's true.

Sometimes I wonder, is it just attraction's play,
Or something more? what do you say?
