I am swimming against the current
but I keep on drowning in my emotions
it's the dark I find solace
and the rays of the sun seeming like shadows
my heart and mind is being troubled
my blood keeps on racing and my vein contains venom
I have been captured in total fracas
now my heart is a blank verse
my fingers trembling with fear
I have painfully swallowed life's lesson
and now my throat thirsts for redemption.
