I've never been the hater

rather the hated

Did I lash back?

As recently as today

Do I know better?

Yes. Why?

Because clearly I was blessed with either more love

or more resiliency or a second chance the haters never knew

I don't want to lash back ever again

One, it brings me more peace to let go

Two, it earns me more respect to be kind

And three, as I said above

I've obviously received more blessings than those

who choose to hurt me

Pray for everyone if you pray

If not, then love gently
