Sunlight fades behind
Clouds that steal the warm glow
As winter nears

Storm

When thunder begins
It rolls and crashes after
The warning flash blinds

Exhaustion

Aching and tired
My eyes feel rather heavy
If only sleep came

Emotions

Sadness penetrates
As the wind exacerbates
The darkness inside
