Hope
#WritcoPoemChallenge

The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even by the crows,
All you could hear was the sound of,
Fear knocking on the doors,
People lost hope quickly,
Wondering if He exists,
They hid in thier homes meekly.
Refusing to kneel and speak,
They don't know that's what the enemy wants,
He wants us to fall weak,
He wants us in this time of panic,
To place our prayers on a low steep,
We need to try harder,
We need to pray further,
But the truth is and will always be,
After all is said and done,
Jesus Christ will forever be king!
“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”
-Proverbs 17:22
