Wish I never met,
Why did I type that first word?
I knew it'd be a whirlwind,
A rollercoaster of emotions morphing into sadness and heartbreak,
I took a chance and knocked on your door,
You took me in,
Lied to me,
I'm sick of all the lies,
Sick of all the hurtful words,
These biting words, like mosquitoes, sapping my strength,
I see you rolling your eyes,
Ignoring me,
You complain about how I act,
But I see you staring at them,
The doubts in your face clear as crystal,

I wish I never met you,
I know that when you read this,
You'll smirk and move on,
Trodding on my feelings,
Arms closed,
A locked heart,
My heart aches,
I can't stop the pain,
I knew I shouldn't have given you my heart,
I should have encassed it in a glass box,
To be seen, but never to be given,
I'm tired of all the lies,
All the desultory states,
Love is never easy,
I've learnt my lesson,
I'll be ruthless.
