The past is a past for reason
That is where it is supposed to be
But some cannot let it go
In their heads it eats away
And in their hearts it brings pain
Through some nights filled with tears and the dawn of new days
Its wrong what they say about the past I have learnt how you can bury it
Because the past claws it way out
They say a good future doesn't need a good past!
