It was a Wednesday
We were in different colors like butterflies

I was a lil bit fade-y but beautiful

my frock was patched somewhere but hidden

my tummy was half filled but covered

I killed all my sorrows with my smile

my smile, my pa’s smile, my ma’s smile



we lined by heights

some of them placed on benches

Some of them sat on floor

teacher was placed on the very centered chair

Then the magic man said– “smileeeeeeee”
