The smile on my face is real,
It bears witness to how I feel

whole days of misery and despair
end up in a sprinkle of cheer

some things have gone right
I have no reason to fight

things have gone right for once
for one day things have gone right

my smile is broad and steady
it won't go off until iam ready

iam happy for once
I know it won't be that way for ever but for now iam happy

I have got many fiends but I have
more friends

the tears on my face have dried out
the sad on my face has been wiped out

the smile on my face is broad and steady for now iam happy
