In a strange land,
An unexpected encounter
With ones unknown
But with the same ancestry.

In a foreign place,
Where everyone is a stranger,
Unexpected brotherhood
Brings both ease and vigor.

I stepped in far from home.
I'm to build a sense of
Familiarity on a soil that brings
No warmth to my feet.

After running so long,
After meeting so many
Strangers with cold hands,
Holding little hope left
For this mist land, not home.
