How I would like to amplify
The specks between old film—
The grainy imperfections—
The low hum of needle scratches
From undulating vinyl records.

How I wonder what stories
Are being told within—
What songs are being written.

Do the particles murmur
To themselves?
Each other?
As do the trees
With the collaborating breeze?
