In the end it was just me and my thoughts,
A painful trap, long after you were gone
I felt trapped in my conscience,
like my thoughts were trying to suffocate me
I couldn't breathe
I cried hoping someone would hear me,
maybe try and save me
but it didn't work
all I could do was to to give in to my thoughts
