MILANCONIA
Mistaken stains,
Awoken, yet refrained,
These lines within still remain,
but I choke, before exhaling,
In melatonin state,
Melancholia numbs the heart,
And beats fade,
as if life itself wasn't meant to be made,
These puddles still run deep,
filled with aching thoughts,
As if the world stops turning
and forlorn days linger the same,
If symmetry is straight,
And life is beautiful,
then why must these unrequited lanes be deranged?
Why must candles burn long distance's?
where borders separate pain,
For light shines furthest away,
And Love is a boat
sailing beyond echoing waves,
Bullets loaded to soothe the brain
