Did I really deserve to die for some dollar?

Cops need to protect us when we are in danger,
But what happens when they themselves become the reason of endanger.

My killer is free having dinner with his family,

If being Black was the reason I Died,
then why are others like me still Alive?
Smoke of burning shops in the sky arrive,
Bro It's America! The people are angry,
But how will the Black survive?

We just wished to live, few of us thrived,
Is it that I was Black, hence Justice deprived?

My question now to my friends alive,
why People like Derek Chauvin are free to live and cheat,
And I was choked for 8 minutes on a street?
