On my way home,
I met sadness today!

I tried running,
I tried fighting.

There was no river I could drown,
There was no shock I could burn.

She stood afar,
no emotions shown.

She was harmless,
She was fragile.

I took a step and then another,
I offered a drink,
I offered a date.
I chose to drown,
I chose to burn.

A magic happened,
she passed a smile,
she passed a piece that could travel the world.
