Every soul that passes the gate,
Has passed a test of fate,
Trudging along on tired feet,
Almost there, refusing to be beat
How precious is life
Even when it cuts like a knife
To know one's own fate
Is not at stake
To know the comfort of peace
Not to live in defeat
But to embrace
Each days race
With love in our hearts
As his Grace did mark
Being set free with the love
That only is of He
Knowing no more pain
Til we see the other again.
