amor fati (a december poem)
draped in the spirit of december,
sounds of frosty winds moan,
drowsy rain subtly decorates,
blankets of spectre-grey iris blue.

oversprinked stars twinkle above,
icicles pane on a broken moon,
a solstice desire to love one’s fate,
& melt in winters eternal glow.

sedated by twilight’s long shadows,
spellbound by crystal anemones,
reflections of deep space illuminates,
lips touching under a mistletoe.
