Love and Flames
You fell in love with the flames
bright and beautiful in her furnance
Her warmth a bekconing call
"She burns" said a warning voice
But you paid no heed
For you were ferros," you weld you do not burn"
or so you thought
So you crept towards her calling embrace
And u knew her passion, her love, her joy
And her sorrow, her pain, her anger
Blazing hot and burning fiercely
And like every ferros when its knows fire
You softened and began to melt
Laid in the anvil and the hammer struck
Once, twice and more to come
The blacksmith banged rapidly
The pain unbearable
But in it you took a new shape
Strong, sharp and wrought
But like every ferros, you will dull again
And you shall creep towards her fiery embrace
For you fell in love with the flames
Burning hot and dazzling in her furnace© Manuel Wolfe
