Truthfully?
Is it the entire truth— I won't pretend to know
But it is my verity— my eyes have seen the proof
I'm not claiming my eyes have truth authority though
I know the way I view has been tinged by what I've seen
Every last thing that I surmise with my two eyes
Will be shaded as I've seen grass that grew far less green
I can shed some light on it, but it might be gas-lit
I've switched most of my wiring over to electric
But when wires cross I fall back into being sick
