Colours
Normally when I look around,
All I see are colours,
Existing to please my eyes,
But today when I see around,
All I see are what these colours stand for,
So vibrant and cordial,
Calling upon us to just peep into their very essence,
Red telling us to embrace our godly relations,
Green urges us to connect more with our roots,
Yellow gifting us with prosperity and opulence,
Pink encourages us to seek a little love in our life,
Blue brings with itself the endless possibilities like that of a sky,
Orange signifies the rising sun and new beginnings,
One might ask what brought such a change in my thought process,
I refute, for the festivals bring out the best in us,
And what other festival to celebrate colours than the festival of Holi!
