Beauty
"And hence he curled his paws.....
the last trace of light in his green eyes...
or...rather, I should say 'eye',
as they melted into oblivion...
he was considered ugly, by humans as well as his own breed,
yet he did not know the fact...
that, he was the most beautiful creature indeed...."

'He'... was a little pup, given up by his own kind as well as humans,
"He was ugly", or so they said....
But to me...he was the most untainted of souls ,
a soul so pure that it could light the darkest corners of the earth,
a soul that was too unfortunate to live in this poor harsh world,
where the sins meets reasons,
and life meets sorrows,
where power is measured while goodness is spurned....
it is cruel world deceived by shine and glamour,
yet, on the other hand....have you ever considered light to exist without dark?
to happiness to exist without sorrow?
That being said....I don't blame the poor tainted people on this wretched abode,
because it is impossible to keep them away...
from the sweet poisonous calls of temptation....
yet, it was the beautiful pup which paid,
as it shivered in the January cold,
abandoned at the end of the street,
from where the other pedestrians removed their gazes from...
and dogs which growled and barked....whenever it was near....
I lifted it in my arms,because... to me...
it was the most divine of all creations,
it shifted against me, trying to get some warmth, which I was too obliged to give...
he also had a nasty wound on its side...
which I treated at once I reached home...
But all good things deserve the worst.....etching exampleexamples from history..
as I looked at him with a helpless gaze...
as he received the warmest treatment towards his end, as he was wrapped in the warmest and softest of blankets, while being held in my embrace......
"And hence he curled his paws.....
