Without you, heaven itself would fade away....
In ancient Ayodhya's golden hue,
Two souls entwined, their love anew.
Prince Rama, noble, strong, and true,
And Sita, grace incarnate, their hearts imbued.

Beneath moon-kissed banyan's shade,
Rama whispered secrets, love displayed.
"Sita," he said, eyes like starlit streams,
"Without you, heaven itself would fade from dreams."

Her smile, a constellation's gentle glow,
She replied, "Rama, our love shall ever flow.
Through forests wild and rivers wide,
You are my universe, my eternal guide."

Exiled they were, destiny's decree,
Fourteen years—a cosmic tapestry.
Yet love, unyielding, their footsteps traced,
In leaf-strewn paths and moonlit space.

Rama, the archer with arrows ablaze,
Shielded Sita from demons' fiery gaze.
She, the lotus blooming in wilderness wild,
Stood by him, steadfast, their love beguiled.

Celestial sage Narada, a witness unseen,
Heard their whispers, the forest's serene.
He marveled at devotion, love's sacred art,
And penned the verse that stirred every heart:

"Taya Vina Swargam Apina Rochaye,
Without you, heaven itself would fade away."

Years passed a tale of trials and strife,
Ravana's wrath, Sita's captive life.
Yet Rama, undeterred, waged cosmic wars,
To reclaim his love, the brightest of stars.

Ayodhya rejoiced when they returned,
Rama and Sita... their love unburned.
But Rama, humble, whispered by her side,
"Without you, heaven itself would subside."

And so, my friend, this ancient refrain,
Echoes through time, love's sweetest strain.
In stress and sorrow, let its truth unfold,
That love, like constellations, never grows old.

"Taya vina swargam apina rochaye,
Without you, heaven itself would fade away."

I came across this verse while reading book on different cultures and mythologies (Indian)... and this verse ("Taya vina swargam apina rochaye") with its true meaning really made me write a poem about the same.

This phrase became a mantra—a reminder that love, whether earthly or divine, holds the universe together. It whispers across the ages, touching hearts and souls. For in every corner of creation, there exists a longing—a yearning for union, for completeness.
And so, my dear readers, when you encounter challenges or seek solace, remember this ancient truth. Love, like a golden thread, binds us to the heavens. Without it, even paradise would fade away.
