I saw the Crib
An elegant crib with an inviting long tailed star.
Straw weaven beautifully into fine art of a roof.
Cave wall with cracks and stain , resembling the old stable.
Clay cows chewing on the plastic grass
And the sheep following the shepherd munching something all along.
Kings distance themselves bearing gifts .
Kneeling or bowing in reverence.
Found Joseph as usual beside his wife,with a staf.
Mary gazing tenderly to the infant.
Sparkling light in rainbow hues.
'Gloria in Excelcis Deo' hangs in bold letters.
A little insect peak it's head out of freshly placed grass.
And a grasshopper balancing at the edge of a straw.
The belivers comes to worship,others to observe.
The vagabonds sitting near , expecting much.
The little toddlers running after a loose balloon.
And the Baby Jesus smiling at the angel that hangs above him.
Without knowing what is this all about.
