What enrages the goddess of fate?
To be unrelenting in her vindictive ways,
Is it the cruelty of the human race,
That provokes her unforgiving wrath of pain.

Are we just pawn in the game of life?
Being played by the goddess of fate with pride,
With each outcome of our life predicted in time,
To be subjected to endless trials of plight.

What lies behind the veil of time?
How sketchy is the future to come?
Questions to which answers play dumb,
But the unknown can be quite appealing or not.

How hard is it to gain the power of control?
To not be wary of the dangers to come,
To be in charge of the situation in stock,
And not be caught unaware by ill-fated realities.
