Give me the faith
To believe in you
When I can’t even believe in myself.

Give me the discipline
To discipline myself,
So I can withdraw from temptation.

Oh please, God,
Give me the forgiveness
That no other human could give
After I’ve failed them all.

Oh please, God,
Give me the hope
So that I can hope for victory
After I’ve lost all hope in myself.

And please, God,
Bless me with love
So i know that you love me
When I can’t even love myself
