Yesterday I said I would be on tv but today I sit on the couch wishing I could be Him,

Yesterday I said I would be on top of the world but today I feel like I'm the foot mat at the door,

Yesterday I said I would stop living up to people's expectations but today I'm reminded of my limitations,

Yesterday I said I would preach the word of God but Today I'm reminded that I'm a sinner who isn't worthy to say the only name above all,

Yesterday I said I would break out of depression but Today I'm reminded that I lost the key to my freedom,

Yesterday I said my problems would have a solution but Today I'm reminded that even my solutions have problems,

Finally my yesterday has become today and they are about to fight to win the day,

Who will win this fight,
will it be my yesterday or my today.
