Teachers are one of the best gifts of God,
For them I shall applaud.
I express to them my gratitude,
For instilling in me a wonderful attitude.

A teacher is like a candle,
Burning itself to others advantage.
All their life they work selflessly,
To open up the world of knowledge.

They shape up our personalities,
And make us understand our responsibilities.
To follow their teachings, we all strive.

Moral values are what they make us imbibe,
When they check us,
We dare not fuss.
Because their guidance and zest,
Makes us better than the best.

'I wish I am a teacher',
I would have students to nurture.
This is how I can repay,
To my immortal and adorable preachers.

I thank you for your helping hand,
For your warm and tender heart,
And for the opportunity to make a brand new start.

I hold fast to tomorrow,
And treasure each passing day,
Never taking for granted,
That which can be taken away.

I have learned to count my blessings,
Never dwelling on the past,
And to build a brighter future,
With the knowledge from your class.

You taught me to be confident,
I couldn't do it even if I tried,
But you taught me to have the courage,
To take everything in stride.

You're such a wonderful teacher,
For all it is plain to see.
I just wanted to let you know,
How much you have meant to me.

Thank you skillful teacher,
For your valuable time
And knowledge you shared,
And your big heart that cared,
For a stubborn and ill student,
Without your concern i wouldn't.

You influenced a child's life positively,
Understood my emotions and feelings senstively.
You mean alot to me i can't express how much,
My life you have touched.
There isn't any word that i will tell,
For you understood me so well.

From my heart i salute,
From my heart you are valued.
Thank you teacher for acting as a friend,
To advise my mistakes and faults,
And for guiding my ideas and thoughts.

I am also grateful for other stuff,
Honestly, a thank you is never enough.
