The darkness darkens darkly,
A veil of night descends so starkly,
Obsidian shroud enshrouds the land,
Where whispers of fear and mystery stand,
Where shadows dance so starkly.
Hides the world from sight,
Filling hearts with fright.
A silent symphony of gloom in the heart of night,
Night's embrace enfolds us in inky shroud,
Hold us as darkness reigns aloud,
As the darkness darkens darkly.
